Curriculum
Curriculum plays a crucial role in developing well-rounded leaders who are intellectually, socially, spiritually, and emotionally prepared to contribute positively to society. Ethics-driven critical thinking is at the core of my curriculum design, which guides students in cultivating integrity, empathy, and moral clarity. History provides essential context for understanding the complexities of both the present and the future. I advocate for subject integration, helping schools weave Islamic history and ethics into Social Studies, ELA, Reading, and Writing. This approach ensures that students achieve academic excellence and are prepared to lead with justice, compassion, and wisdom. Ultimately, the goal is to help children think critically, save valuable classroom time, and address inequity and oppression in meaningful and effective ways.

Black in the MSA
A study looking into the experiences and involvement of Black students in Muslim Student Associations (MSA) across U.S. colleges and universities.
A study examining how Black British Muslims navigate Muslim educational & learning environments, including Islamic schools & madrasahs, and how anti-Blackness affects their access to these spaces.
Black Brits Navigating Muslim Learning Spaces
Through these studies, I aim to continue unpacking the complex dynamics of anti-Blackness in Muslim communities and contribute to creating spaces where all Black Muslims can feel truly seen, heard, and valued.
